PDF Optimiser

A future controlled post-processing step for Archicad PDFs, informed by PDF Analyser results.

Idea

Current status

PDF Optimiser is an idea-stage VKTRS tool concept. It is not currently an active service, subscription, portal tool, or checkout product.

The current live step is PDF Analyser, which inspects Archicad PDFs in the browser without uploading or modifying the file.

Relationship

After analysis

PDF Analyser shows where overhead sits: high-DPI images, dense vectors, hairlines, fill-heavy pages, and other page-level structure. PDF Optimiser records the possible next step once those patterns are understood well enough to define controlled post-processing rules.

Control

Not anonymous compression

The aim is not a generic upload-and-compress service. Free online PDF optimisers may reduce file size, but they rarely explain what changed or what happens to uploaded drawing data.

Any VKTRS optimisation path would need to preserve user ownership, make changes visible, and keep the author in control of whether a PDF is re-exported, simplified, or post-processed.

Boundary

Not available yet

No VKTRS optimiser is currently available from this page. Use PDF Analyser for the current browser-only diagnostic step. Optimisation remains a future direction after enough export and rendering patterns are understood.
