SONAR gives Office and BIM Managers a central operations view on vktrs.co. It brings project activity, storage pressure, stale work, backup coverage, threshold alerts, and mapped Archicad Model Check context into one portal-based management surface.
FUNCTION
What It Does
Surfaces operational signals from the SONAR data layer in a hosted dashboard, scoped to your organisation’s access rules. The portal is built for review, exception tracking, and management coordination. It does not replace Archicad, BIMcloud, or your existing file server workflows.
SYSTEM
Portal Overview
After onboarding, authorised users sign in to the VKTRS portal and open SONAR. The dashboard shows active projects, large projects, stale projects, server capacity, backup coverage, and related operational tables. Settings allow user-level report preferences and threshold values where enabled.
Inputs
Operational audit data from the SONAR data layer, client access mapping, user threshold preferences, and AMC submissions routed to the organisation where mapping rules apply.
Outputs
Portal dashboard views, management tables, threshold-controlled alert emails, scheduled reports, and AMC context where mapped to the client scope.
MANAGED VIEWS
Operational Tables
SONAR organises review around named management views, not raw exports. The current portal includes:
- AMC Checks – mapped Archicad Model Check submissions requiring review.
- Large Projects – projects above the configured size threshold.
- Active Projects – recently modified projects with size delta, first activity-log reshare, last modified, last user, and AMC context.
- Stale Projects – projects beyond the inactivity threshold.
- Large Libraries – libraries above the configured size threshold.
- Snapshots – project snapshot volume.
- Server Overview – storage, capacity, source status, and server links.
- Backup Coverage – enabled versus missing backup schedules.
ALERTS
Threshold Notifications
SONAR can notify subscribed users when configured thresholds are crossed, such as project size increases between audit snapshots. Threshold values are managed in the portal so alert behaviour can reflect the organisation’s operational tolerance rather than a single fixed default.
INTEGRATION
Archicad Model Check Context
Where you use Archicad Model Check, SONAR can centralise mapped submissions so an Office or BIM Manager sees diagnostic context alongside project activity, size movement, server capacity, and backup coverage. Visibility follows routing rules, for example email domain mapping. AMC remains a standalone free check; SONAR centralises mapped results for managed review.
MANAGEMENT
Why It Matters
BIM operations drift across servers, projects, users, backup schedules, and model quality checks. SONAR concentrates those signals in a managed portal so managers can review exceptions without adding another desktop tool.
A typical use case is a practice with multiple BIMcloud hosts that needs one place to monitor active projects, capacity, stale work, backup coverage, size-change alerts, and AMC submissions that need management attention.

ACCESS
Availability
SONAR is offered as a portal service with onboarding managed by VKTRS. Self-serve checkout is not wired on this page yet. Use Request access to discuss onboarding, client mapping, alert policy, report cadence, and AMC routing.
