The VKTRS Drawing Numbering System was developed through production work across a wide range of project types.
The system builds on the US National CAD Standard (USNCS) but simplifies and adapts the structure to suit Australian architectural practice.
Key refinements include support for Lower Ground conventions, flexibility for podium and plant levels, and a compact 7-digit numbering structure that remains practical for everyday use in Archicad markers and schedules.
